Went there for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant was clearly understaffed and the waitresses were all seen to be stressed. Service was super slow and sloppy. Tables were too closed to each other and we felt really clamped . The Peking duck was dry and rough , the “pancake” wrappings was super rough and dry. It was definitely the worst that I have ever had. The prawns were ok but nothing to write home about. The sauce for the vegetables was too thick. To summarize the whole dining experience, this restaurant is meant for TOURISTS who have no previous exposure to Chinese cuisine and try to find a restaurant that matches their imagination of a Chinese restaurant in some old sleazy Chinese movies.

Extremely dry and inedible duck, difficult to swallow and tasteless. Dryness can be seen in the photos. Service was fast and the restaurant was nice

First time to notice this restaurant when we slow down to walk down from mid-level to soho, we decided to give it a try. Good comfort Sichuan / chinese food, just simple and quick, will come again or order take away

Great three course fixed price lunch. My wife and I visited Monogamous for lunch. It is pretty straight forward to find. Not small. Not large. We were served quickly. Tasty food. My wife’s pork noodles were particularly good as were my spicy Szechuan dumplings. All served with jasmine tea. Delicious.

Was very pleasant surprised when we stopped by for their 3 course lunch set with a pot of jasmine tea because it was only 88$ and I wasn't expecting too much. Their standout dish was definitely the noodles in fish broth with soft chunks of white fish fillet and shrimp. Definitely will be back!
